One of the nicest things about being an author is signing a copy of your book for someone. I don’t get to do as often as I’d like now the world is more about e-books and online learning, but sometimes I do.
When I went to Rwanda a couple of weeks ago my luggage was close to the permitted limit because I took ten copies of my book to give away.
My royalty statements don’t provide me with a territorial breakdown of sales but I find it hard to believe that many people in east Africa have paid $42 plus postage to get my book. But now I know that there are at least 8 copies in Rwanda and 2 in Uganda.
If you want your own copy there’s still time to get one direct from Routledge with a 30% discount. Use the link in the comments and the coupon code: FMAP23.
If you want a signed copy you’ll have to DM me and we will see if we can work something out.
