In the public sector, written reports need to be clear and credible because the audience is usually non-experts.
Yes, AI can generate reports fast. But it doesn’t understand your stakeholders, your risks, or your political context.
And let’s be clear: AI isn’t actually intelligent. It doesn’t think. It calculates probabilities to predict the next word in a sentence. It’s a very fast autocomplete service.
Worse still, AI is trained on existing content. That could be content from the whole internet or just from within your own organisation.
Either way, if most reports in the past have been too long, unclear, uninspiring, and unread, your AI will just give you more of the same — but faster.
But you don’t need your most important reports to be average. You need them to be that’s clear and persuasive. The writing needs to reflect your judgment and build the reader’s trust.
That’s where I come in.
If you’re a CFO or Chief Audit Executive who wants to raise the standard of your reporting get in touch with me. Let’s make your next report one that actually gets read and understood.
